A Message on "Togetherness"

My Dear Parishioners,

Christmas is a time for community. It is a time for snowmen, lights, and tradition. It is NOT a time to turn your back on your neighbors to go on a "Cruisibbean Karibe."

Selfishness is a heavy burden. When we skip Christmas, we skip our souls.

Yours in Faith,
Fr. Zabriskie

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for Beverly Scheel (Health).
  • Pray for Nora Krank (She seems very stressed at the grocery store).
  • Pray for the Choir (Their vests are very itchy, see Uniform Code).

⚠️ MORAL WARNING: THE TANNING SALON ⚠️

I recently visited the local tanning facility (strictly for medical vitamin D reasons) and witnessed a shocking sight.

A prominent member of our community (I will not name him, but his initials are L.K.) was seen wearing a very small swimsuit.

"It's not what it looks like, Father!" he shouted.

My children, vanity is a sin. Artificial sun leads to artificial happiness. And looking like a smoked salmon is not a good look for the holidays.
